Tex (aka Prancer)

Tex’s owner passed away and his widow tried her best to care for Tex and his buddy, Oatmeal, but soon realized it was too much for her and her disabilities. Her sister-in-law suggested she reach out to us and luckily, we were able to help these two sweet equines! Tex is a Thoroughbred gelding around 10 years old. He has “parrot-mouth”, basically an overbite, but that does not affect his use of bit or riding. Someone along the way had trouble brushing out his tail and ended up with scissors (eye roll) - but that will grow out someday. You should see this fellow prance! He is a delight to watch! He gets along with the herd well and is not fazed by dogs. Tex shines best in arena work and with children, not trails. Call about this handsome dude today!
