"La Bonita Chiquita" Black Greek Leather and Custom Hand-Painted Porcelain Bead (Black and White) Necklace with Sterling Silver
Our “Kita” who is the “Heart of the Herd” is proud to sponsor this Black Greek Leather Double Barrel Knot Necklace and Custom Hand-Painted Porcelain Bead with a Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp. The beautiful simplistic black and white bead depicts a horse running in a pasture in the foreground of the Three Sisters Mountains. The necklace is adjustable from a 16” choker up to 22” by sliding the two barrel knots along the supple leather cord toward and away from the clasp to the desired length. Complementary Earrings are also available and sold separately to complete the set! See photos below and other Listed Inventory.
Happy Trails “Mare Wear” was inspired when we discovered an artist who could hand paint our website homepage photo on a 10 mm porcelain bead or a 13 mm mother of pearl teardrop bead, including a horse grazing or running in the foreground of the Three Sisters Mountains. These were the perfect novelty beads to incorporate into a few simple jewelry designs to raise additional funds for our Herd. This “Kita” Necklace was designed by our Board Member Vicki Hunt. The beads were painted by artist Barbara Reinstein, West Warwick, Rhode Island, at Etsy Shop “Netbarb” Spencer Studios.
Each jewelry item ordered comes in its own organza drawstring bag with care instructions and polishing cloth, and packaged for shipment via USPS Ground Advantage to any location in the United States for a fee of $6.50. Or, you may arrange to pick up your items at Happy Trails for free. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
