Lucy (aka Lexi)

Lucy came to us once her owner was having serious health issues and need to move to assisted living. She arrived with her buddy, Dusty (aka Destiny). She had originally been adopted from the sheriffs rescue ranch back in 2020 as part of a neglect case. She had apparently been ridden by someone way too heavy for her with a very ill fitting saddle, leaving her entire spine full of scarring.

At age 18 we are working on getting her back pain under control and will see if she could possibly be a good light riding kids horse for the remainder of her life. Time will tell. Come meet this “in your pocket” gal!
