Image (aka Good Lookin’)

Image was a Registered Quarter Horse whose owner was going through difficult health issues and was no longer able to care for her. She had been in a very small box stall with small runout and when she got here, she was thrilled to be in an outside pen that is 10x’s bigger than what she had experienced! Image was 17 years old in May 2025 and was a real beauty! She loved to be loved and would hang her head in order to get caresses. She went through a thorough evaluation of a lameness issue in her front hooves, and we discovered she had a cyst on her navicular bone. After many treatment options, we resorted to a neurectomy surgery, where she felt less pain. Sadly, she broke her leg in a tragic accident. She will be sorely missed.
