Gypsy (The Gentle Soul)

Gypsy is a registered Arab mare, age 26. Gypsy is an incredible horse—spirited and full of sass, yet grounded with a wise, old-soul energy. She embodies the very best of her breed’s temperament: intelligent, people-oriented, and wonderfully aware of her surroundings. Whether she’s with children or adults, Gypsy is always gentle, engaging, and an absolute joy to be around.

She’s also quite the entertainer—she knows how to give kisses, take a bow (to one side), and perform “Hup,” where she rears up on her hind legs in excitement. She loves treats—peppermints and candy canes are her favorites—but truthfully, there’s not much she’ll turn down.

Trail riding is where Gypsy shines. She has spent most of her life on trails and genuinely enjoys it—whether leading and setting the pace or contentedly following. Arena work isn’t her favorite (she tends to get bored) but she’ll do it willingly. She’s familiar with pattern work and pole bending, though she’s always preferred a relaxed, steady pace. Her favorite gait is the trot, which she does with enthusiasm and grace.
